BOINEER’sThiol Magnetic Beadsare coated with high-density thiol (R(Pyridyl)-SH) functional groups on the surface of Silica Magnetic Beads. Depending on the size, Thiol Magnetic Beads are available as micrometer-sizedAccuBead™(1 - 5 μm) and nanometer-sizedAccuNanoBead™(400 nm). All magnetic beads developed by BIONEER have a pure magnetite (iron(Ⅱ, Ⅱ) oxide, Fe3O4) core. Compared to other beads that use polymer cores, BIONEER’s magnetic beads have higher magnetic saturation, allowing them to be collected more quickly by a magnet. This enables faster separation and purification of target biomolecules. Additionally, BIONEER’s technology allows for more functional groups to be attached to the surface, increasing the efficiency of experiments by capturing more target biomolecules with the same volume as magnetic beads. Thiol groups reversibly immobilize thiol-containing biomolecules. The Thiol Magnetic beads can purify DNA, RNA, proteins, and specific cells. The beads are useful for small peptides because the long-arm hydrophilic linker may reduce steric hindrance. Using theMagListo™ Magnetic Separation Rack(TM-1000, TM-1010, TM-1011, TM-1020, TM-1030) or other magnetic separation racks, biomolecules attached to the beads can be easily purified by magnetic force.
