TBST Buffer [20x] - Western blot reagent
TBS buffer is an isotonic buffer, mainly used for immunohistochemistry and in situ hybridization, enzyme-linked immunoassay, etc., to clean the non-specifically bound antibodies.
A stable pH buffer system consists of Tris-HCl and Sodium Chloride, which provides isotonic conditions and also includes the Tween-20 which acts as a detergent to increase the buffer's ability to elute.
The buffer consists Tris-Hcl, Sodium Chloride, and Tween-20 in recommended concentration. The buffer is supplied as a 20x concentrate and it should be diluted prior to use.
