TBST [10x]

TBST buffer is an isotonic buffer salt solution is mainly used to wash away non-specifically bound antibodies and other reagents on the membrane in western-blot. Tris-HCl constitutes a stable pH buffer system, NaCl provides isotonic conditions, and Tween-20 as a detergent can increase the elution capacity of the buffer.

Composition:
10mM Tris-HCl
150mM NaCl
Tween-20 0.05% (V/V)
