Principle
Pseudomonas agar is described by King, Ward, and Raney (1954). Pseudomonas agar is composed of tryptone, gel peptone, potassium sulfate, magnesium chloride, and agar. Tryptone and gel peptone is the source of carbon and nitrogen and other essential elements for growth. Potassium sulfate and magnesium chloride stimulates pigment production. Agar is a solidifying agent. The Glycerol is added in the medium, as an excess carbon source.
