Neutral Balsam
Neutral Gum is an natural sealing agent used in microscopic technology; it is similar to the Canadian gum, with the same purpose and good effect. After refining and neutralizing, it is dissolved in a transparent agent to form a 60% solution. The refractive index is similar to that of glass. After drying, it is condensed into a transparent colorless solid without shrinkage and yellowing. The drawbacks of schizophrenia, such as the Canadian gums have long-term yellowing oxidative fading and other shortcomings. The sliced specimens were stained with hematoxylin, blush, red, solid green, and magenta, and the color remained unchanged for several years. Many self-contained specimens such as blood-sucking insects, polyester insects and other parasites, sealed with neutral gum, can achieve excellent results.
