Mounting Medium, Antifading with DAPI

Antifading Mounting Medium with DAPI is a glycerol based anti-fluorescence attenuating sealing liquid. This Mounting Media contains DAPI which is a fluorescent dye that binds strongly to DNA. Commonly used with fluorescence microscopy. Because DAPI can penetrate the intact cell membrane, it can be used for staining of living cells and fixed cells, and cells with blue fluorescence can be seen under the microscope. After the film is sealed, the sample can be stored for 2-3 weeks at 4°C or -20°C in the dark.

The reagent is easy to operate; when the film is sealed, a drop of mounting media is dispensed and the cover glass can be covered.
