Hematoxylin & Eosin (HE) staining Kit
Hematoxylin-Eosin staining, referred to as HE staining, is one of the commonly used staining methods in slicing techniques. Hematoxylin stain is alkaline, which mainly makes the chromatin in the nucleus and the ribosomes in the cytoplasm colored purple-blue; Eosin is an acid dye that mainly makes the components in the cytoplasm and extracellular matrix colored red.
The staining process needs to be optimized. The staining situation is related to the type of tissue or cell, and also changes with its life cycle and pathological changes. For example, the cytoplasm of many cells is lightly colored or slightly basophilic in eosin during the neonatal period. When they are senescent or undergo degenerative changes, they will be heavily stained with eosin. When collagen fibers are aging and hyaline degeneration, the coloration of eosin changes from light to dark.
The reagents contained in this product are all working fluids and can be used directly.
