Principle
The fungal broth is composed of soya peptone and dextrose used for the cultivation of fungi. Soya peptone, serve as the source of nitrogen, amino acids, vitamins, and other trace elements, required for the growth of fungi and molds.
Dextrose supplies carbon and energy sources. The acidic pH makes the medium partially selective for the growth of fungi and inhibits the growth of bacteria.
