Endogenous Biotin Blocking Solution
Endogenous biotin is widely distributed in mammalian tissues, especially in the liver, lung, spleen, fat, brain, and other tissues. After formalin fixation, the endogenous background will be reduced, but the background in the frozen section will be greatly enhanced. Violent antigen retrieval exposes the endogenous substances in the formalin-fixed tissue, such as endogenous biotin. The biotin blocking solution can well inhibit the activity of endogenous substances (mainly endogenousbiotin).
