Principle
- Corn starch medium used for cultivation and maintenance of Clostridium acetobutylicum. The media is composed of corn starch, potassium phosphate, magnesium sulphate, calcium sulphate, and ammonium sulphate.
- Corn starch is a carbon source, phosphate act as a buffering agent, Sulphate is source of trace metals and sulfates. Ammonium sulphate is a source of nitrogen.
