Yeast extract, malt extract, and peptone provide nitrogenous compounds, carbon, cofactors, and other nutrients essential for growth.
Dextrose serves as a fermentable carbohydrate, providing energy for metabolic reactions. Aniline blue is a fluorescent indicator and agar is the solidifying agent.
Use: Recommended for isolation and differentiation of Candida albicans.
