Depending on the size, Biotin Magnetic Beads are available as micrometer-sizedAccuBead™(1 - 5 μm) and nanometer-sizedAccuNanoBead™(400 nm). All magnetic beads developed by BIONEER have a pure magnetite (iron(Ⅱ, Ⅱ) oxide, Fe3O4) core. Compared to other beads that use polymer cores, BIONEER’s magnetic beads have higher magnetic saturation, allowing them to be collected more quickly by a magnet. This enables faster separation and purification of target biomolecules. Additionally, BIONEER’s technology allows for more functional groups to be attached to the surface, increasing the efficiency of experiments by capturing more target biomolecules with the same volume as magnetic beads. Biotin forms a high-affinity complex with avidin and streptavidin. The Biotin Magnetic beads can purify avidin or streptavidin-labeled biomolecules such as DNA, RNA, antibodies, and proteins from cell lysates or hybridization reactions. Using theMagListo™ Magnetic Separation Rack(TM-1000, TM-1010, TM-1011, TM-1020, TM-1030) or other magnetic separation racks, biomolecules attached to the beads can be easily purified by magnetic force.
